Rehabilitation Services

Our rehab team works to help patients reach their health goals as quickly and efficiently as possible. We partner with physical, occupational and speech therapists to achieve these goals. Our rehab room is well equipped and staffed by experienced licensed therapists to make a patient’s goal a reality, whenever possible.

Physical Therapy

Physical therapy focuses on identification and rehabilitation of individuals with physical impairment and pain, as well as future injury prevention. Our physical therapy team’s goal is to develop a program that is based on individualized needs.

Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapists work with patients in adapting to their social and physical environment by working on tasks essential for daily living. An occupational program might include working on functional independence for things such as cooking, eating, bathing, dressing, and grooming. Our therapists also work with patients in increasing safety awareness for when patients return home or to a lower level of care.

Speech and Language Pathology

Our speech and language therapists work with patients affected by stroke, brain injury, dementia, or those suffering from hearing impairment, respiratory illnesses, and other complex medical conditions. The speech therapy program is designed to improve speech, increase comprehension and verbal expression, improve chewing and swallowing, and maximize cognitive skills.

Other Therapies

At Cherry Valley Healthcare, we also offer respiratory therapy, pulmonary therapy, pet therapy, music therapy, and art therapy in order to help each of our patients achieve success in returning to their highest functioning self.
